Organic Sculptures

 

My intent for these sculptures were to show texture and create visually appealing pieces. I wanted to focus primarily on texture because it has been something I haven't done before. I took inspiration from things in nature. For example, the second sculpture reminds me of either an anemone, palm tree, or a mop. I feel like my work could have looked less like a craft and more like a sculpture. I would like to keep exploring the use of textures.

Materials: Duct tape, String, Wood Glue, Blue Ink, and Cardboard
